Rosemary’s Baby (Paramount, 1984)
One of the most evocative images you’ll see for this Roman Polanski classic. The amazing artwork by the award winning Polish artist, Andrzej Pagowski, displays his incredible versatility. One of the most talented and prolific artists working in Poland since the early 1970s, Pagowski has painted everything from posters for Saturday Night Fever to Akira Kurosawa’s Ran. In 1984 the film was released in Poland with two very different ad campaigns, intended to appeal to two very different sets of people. There was this eerie, dramatic image of the mother’s manicured and polished nails in stark contrast to the thick haired and clawed fingers of the demon baby, and a much more sedate and subtle style b, drawn by Wieslaw Walkuski.
Para que luego nos quejemos del título español de Rosemary ‘s baby. Visto aquí.
